Sharyn Long
Managing Partner

Sharyn has a diverse background in business services, tax, accounting and audit.  She has spent her entire career in public practice, having worked for KMG Hungerfords and Arthur Andersen before establishing slca in 1993.

Sharyn is regarded as one of Australia’s leading superannuation practitioners, she is a supporter of the superannuation industry and a Director of the Self Managed Superannuation Funds Professionals Association (SPAA).  She is a sought after speaker and delivers many technical papers on superannuation at Institute of Chartered Accountants, SPAA and the Taxation Institute conferences and forums.

As the managing partner of slca, Sharyn divides her time between the Perth and Melbourne offices.

Tanya Channell
Partner

Tanya joined slca in November 1999, during which she has completed her CA program, receiving a merit certificate as the highest ranked WA student in the taxation module, progressed to manager and taken up the offer of partnership in 2008. 

Tanya completed her Bachelors degree at The Australian National University and a Master of Professional Accounting at Edith Cowan University before undertaking her CA qualifications.  She is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia.

Tanya is based in the Perth office and specialises in tax and business services, her clients have interests in mining, horticulture, viticulture and mining services in Australia and overseas.

Graeme Robson
Partner

Graeme holds a Masters degree in Economics from Monash University and a Bachelor of Commerce (with Honours) degree from the University of Western Australia.  He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Taxation Institute of Australia and also a fellow of FINSIA.

Graeme specialises in superannuation accounting and compliance and his clients include some of Australia’s employer sponsored largest superannuation funds.

Graeme is the staff partner responsible for recruitment and staff development and splits his time between Melbourne and Perth.

Greg Bentley
Senior Manager

Greg joined slca as an under graduate in July 1999.  He completed his Bachelor of Commerce at UWA in that year, before undertaking the CA program which he completed in 2002.

Greg specialises in superannuation accounting, compliance and audit.  His clients include corporate and industry superannuation funds as well as self managed superannuation funds.

Greg is a SSAud member of the SMSF Professionals Association and a member of the Taxation Institute of Australia.

Kate Griffin
Senior Manager

Kate also joined the Perth office of slca in July 1999 and transferred to Melbourne in January 2003.  Kate holds a Bachelor of Commerce from UWA and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Taxation Institute of Australia.

Kate specialises in superannuation and services corporate, industry funds and SMSF work undertaken in our Melbourne office.
