slca is heavily involved with the SMSF Professional Association of Australia (SPAA) and Sharyn Long is a director of that organisation. Sharyn assisted with the development of the Standard of Professional Conduct for the SPAA SMSF Auditor specialist designation and was part of the AUASB project team responsible for the development of Guidance Statement GS009 on auditing of SMSF’s issued in 2008.
